DicoPro -- Step-by-Step Introduction

When you start the DicoPro client user interface, a loading window is displayed temporarily, which appears as follows:

A connection can be refused, or otherwise not work, which will result in this windowing.

When the DicoPro interface has successfully been loaded it appears as follows:

Click on the DIS icon on the left of the screen.
Click on the switch or double-click on the ``Remote DIS'' icon .

The interface will then appear as follows:

Click on the dictionary you wish to consult; a brief description of the dictionary will appear on the right partition of the window. Clicking on the ``Connect'' button below will open the selected dictionary.

The dictionary is now accessible for searching; the interface appears as below.

Type in the text input field your request and hit the ``return'' key or click on the ``Send'' button (in our example, we typed ``asp'').

The matching results are displayed on the window's left partition; double-clicking on one word will display the full entry on the window's right partition. The scroll bars will be automatically in place in case of long results or long entries.
