2) Publishers  plans to improve their lexical data in electronic form: 

• Digitising dictionaries.
• Conversion from typographical to a standard SGML format.
• Better consistency,  coherence  and lexicographic improvements.
• Lexical information will be distributed in a representation format at least as secure as what is found on a CD-ROM.
