Background and Research Interests

I started working at TIM/ISSCO in 1989. I've been involved in different projects such as: MULTEXT (LRE project), SLT, MEDTAG, DiET (LE project) and ISLE (LE project). Between 2000 and 2007, I was a Maître d'Enseignement et de Recherche (MER) at the School of Translation and Interpretation, and was named Professor in 2007. I also teach a general course in computational linguistics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (section Infodoc).

My principal research area is in lexical semantics, and in particular the generative lexicon. You can find a postscript version of my doctoral thesis, entitled Polymorphie et sémantique lexicale : le cas des adjectifs here.
